Is this proof of the failure of "Revelation"?

It's maybe more like proof of your refusal to be open to even the possibility that God could reveal Himself to you. Your points are all entirely reasonable, to a person who either does not believe God exists, or who has been convinced that other peoples' claims of divine revelation are nothing more than imaginations running a'muck. To those who have had something of the awesome reality of God revealed to them, personally, your question is sad. But one day you might understand!
