My smartparts Ion Xe seems to lose pressure and wont let me shoot consistantly.?

I bought it brand new ive only took it out on the field once but before i did i installed a virtue board and when i put on the gas it was leaking terribly so i took it apart and tightened the solenoid valve which made it stop leaking but its still losing pressure every now and again and ill have to shut it off and turn it back on. If i shoot say 3 times and it doesn't shoot anything or looses pressure, when it regains pressure it'll shoot the 3 along with the last one but it wont go very far and sometimes ill have to shoot a little bit till it gets full pressure. Any ideas? maybe its the solenoid valve isn't tightened all the way still? I'm planning on taking a look at it tomorrow though so quick feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
