Dell updated ship date confusion?

Alrighty, a little while back I ordered myself a dell and they told me estimated delivery was 03/02/2010, about a month from when I ordered it. Now I went to check my status (not sure why, just wanted to) and now it says estimated delivery is 02/12/2010. But there is no tracking number or anything saying it was shipped, I tried to ask dell about this but they keep giving me automated responses and the telephone line is also automated. I'm just curious as to why this changed, was it shipped or what? Should I expect it Friday or is this just a fluke and I'm stilling getting it on the 03/02. Anyone have experience with this?
