Why is my Mac not properly running steam games?

Did you really expect your Mac to handle games on a 2.0 GHz dual-core processor with 1 GB RAM? Your graphics card doesn't even meet the minimum graphics memory requirement for Splinter Cell (you need 256MB, not 128MB like what you have). You can't really run modern games on your system with your hardware...it's simply too weak.
