Question for a book: What's a slang way of saying "Hi" in the Circus?

I'm writing a book for a friend (a different one) about four girls trying to belong in the world as circus performers, and I have some circus lingo, but some escapes me, so I'm wondering if there's a way to say "hi" in the circus that isn't "Hi."
